Meet #TeamENA: Bridget, Account Executive

Q: What advice can you give for coordinating/planning a successful ad board or trade show event?

A: The most important thing is to be flexible. Inevitably, things will go wrong no matter how well you plan, so you have to be quick on your feet and ready to come up with alternative and creative solutions to make sure your event stays on track. You can’t beat yourself up about it; you just have to keep swimming.

Q: What do you think is essential to managing lasting, effective client relationships?

A: People just want to feel as though they are being heard and validated. I think active listening is the most important component in a relationship with a client—listen to their needs, ask questions, and make sure you understand their expectations. You want to express your appreciation and deliver high-quality results.

Q: Describe what it’s like working at ENA in three words. Ready, set, go!

A: Educational, exciting, fulfilling.

Q: If you were stuck on an island, what three things would you want to have?

A: My Kindle, for sure, since reading on the beach is one of my favorite things to do. My Labrador, because we love to swim together. And if there’s a refrigerator on this island, I would want to bring cheese—lots and lots of cheese.

Q: If a child walked up to you and asked for your advice and you only had a few minutes to give your best advice, what would it be?

A: Don’t let anybody tell you who you are. Oh, and take good care of your teeth.
